Road trip?

Just a quickie this morning because I have to get in the shower so I can go to the last coffee of the season. I have already walked and then shooed off a flock of doves. Someone must have forgotten to put out food as they all seem to be here this morning. I’m not crazy about that. They are quite annoying and poop everywhere.

Anyway, the only thing I have on the agenda for today is to go to the post office. I may go to Sal’s if they aren’t working on that end of the road. They have the road blocked off and it is local traffic only. It has been shut down a month already, hopefully they will get it wrapped up soon. I haven’t been to Sal’s since they started on the road.

I have been having Jake dreams again. They started after Keith and I started talking about a road trip. Not sure what is going on there, but it obviously disturbs me. Or Jake. Going to have to do some serious debating with myself on this. Keith and I are friends, there is nothing, and will be nothing going on between us, so I don’t know what the problem is. It just feels wrong. I really would like to get out and see some of this country before Keith leaves because soon it will be hot and I will be house bound and won't be able to do much of anything. He's willing and has the time and has already been everywhere. It would be all new to me.

Nothing is ever easy. Sigh….
